Athanassakio Archaeological Museum
The Athanassakio Archaeological Museum of Volos is one of the oldest museums in Greece. The first exhibits that were housed there are the tombstones written columns of Demetrias, while notable are the Neolithic findings exhibited in the museum.
City Museum of Volos
The Museum of the City of Volos is the first and unique to this time modern City Museum in Greece. Housed in the building of the former tobacco warehouse Papantou and has plenty of photographic and audio material regarding the history of the city and its people
Kitsos Makris Folklore Centre
The Folklore Centre of Kitsos Makris is housed in a two-storey house of the famous folklorist. It includes unique folk art exhibits, such as works of folk painter Theophilos, by Pagonis and Christopoulos, and a large library.
Museum of Olive Oil (Pelion)
Located in Ano Gatzea, to the point where the train of Pelion stops. The museum exhibits various objects found in the place where the sorting small industry worked, processing and producing the oils.
House-museum of Alexander Papadiamantis (Skiathos)
In the house of the great writer Skiathitis one can see photos, personal items, furniture and clothes of his family and be mentally transferred to the past and the lifestyle of the island in the 19th century.
Monastery Museum Evangelistria (Skiathos)
The museum hosts collections of church relics and folklore items, the collection of "The epic of the Balkan wars," and have also kept there the first Greek flag since (1807). The old bank and the oven of the monastery have also been turned into a museum.
